Joyce practices in all areas of workplace law with an interest in access to information and privacy law. She appreciates the human element of workplace law as it creates unique challenges and requires creative solutions.

Joyce became an associate in September 2023 after completing her articles with the firm. Prior to joining Harris, Joyce summered at a management-side labour and employment boutique in Brampton, Ontario.

Joyce received her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2022. While at law school, Joyce served as an executive member of the Osgoode Criminal Law Society and as the Director of Intake at Fair Change Community Legal Services, an organization dedicated to advocating for people experiencing homelessness. As an active member of the community, she has also volunteered at For Youth Initiative, a not-for-profit focused on assisting at-risk youth, and at Accessible Media Inc., an organization dedicated to providing accessible media for Canadians who are blind or partially blind.

Joyce spent a semester as a legal intern at the Human Rights Legal Support Centre where she assisted clients with human rights complaints. She also worked as a research assistant on a variety of human rights topics.
