Ilan’s practice focuses on labour, employment, and human rights. He offers legal and strategic advice to employers on issues such as collective agreement interpretation, collective bargaining, employee discipline, privacy law, and the duty to accommodate. Ilan represents his clients before federal and provincial labour relations boards, arbitration boards, administrative tribunals and the courts.

Ilan’s approach is thoughtful, perceptive, and determined. He creates strong relationships with his clients, paying close attention to details to help them successfully navigate difficult issues. Ilan is a dynamic advocate and recognizes that his clients often have both a personal and financial stake in the result.

Ilan utilizes his past experience working as legal counsel and labour relations consultant to the Health Employers’ Association of British Columbia (HEABC) with his healthcare clients. He also works with clients in the transportation, education, and municipal sectors.
