Tobacco Addiction Declared Physical and Mental Disability

A major mining company and its unions in BC are struggling with the aftermath of a recent arbitration award. The award ruled that employees who are heavily addicted to tobacco have a physical and mental disability that must be accommodated up to the point of undue hardship.
