We recently posted an article regarding Bill 19 – Employment Standards Amendment Act, 2022, which proposed amendments to the sick leave provisions in the British Columbia Employment Standards Act. The proposed amendments received Royal Assent on March 31, 2022 and are now in effect in British Columbia.
