Harris is pleased to announce that Tom Posyniak has joined the firm as an associate.
Tom received his Class 1 Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia and his Juris Doctor with Great Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan. After distinguishing himself in his studies, Tom was one of 12 students in the province to be offered a clerking position for the British Columbia Court of Appeal. He was called to the British Columbia bar in 2014 and proceeded to work at a multi-national law firm where he authored a number of scholarly articles on topics ranging from privacy law to settlement agreements.
In addition to advising clients on employment matters, Tom also practises corporate and commercial litigation and administrative law. He is a valuable addition to these growing areas of our practice.
Despite being at Harris only a few weeks, Tom’s presence in the office is already being felt. Tom’s efforts on the softball pitch contributed to the Harris Ampersands’ first victory of the season earlier this week. Keep it up, Tom!
