Dr. Roslyn Kunin has been appointed chair of WorkSafeBC’s Board of Directors. Dr. Kunin will replace Douglas Enns, who has served as chair for the past six years.
Dr. Kunin is the principal of Roslyn Kunin and Associates Inc., an economic consulting company with a focus in the labour market and human resources issues. She has served on WorkSafeBC’s Board for the past six years as a public interest representative and most recently, as Vice-Chair. Dr. Kunin is also a Director of the BC office and a Senior Fellow of the Canada West Foundation and a member of the National Statistics Council of Statistics Canada. Her accomplishments also include working in the private sector, teaching at several Canadian universities, and serving for 20 years as the regional economist for the Federal Government in BC and the Yukon. Dr. Kunin is a member of the Order of Canada.
In a press release announcing the appointment, WorkSafeBC thanked Douglas Enns for his years of outstanding leadership.
