Profile

Mark practices in all aspects of labour, employment, and human rights law, representing management in various sectors including forestry, education, and municipal government. He offers advice and representation on dismissal and disciplinary matters, seniority issues, job competition grievances, contracting issues, and layoff/recall disputes. He regularly appears before the BC Labour Relations Board and boards of arbitration, and has appeared before the Federal Court and all levels of court in British Columbia.

Mark takes a thoughtful, practical, and confident approach to his practice which quickly earns him the loyalty of his clients. By developing long-term relationships with his clients he is able to create people-oriented solutions. He is competent and articulate, using logic and also a thorough knowledge of labour relations to solve problems.

Before working at Harris, Mark clerked at the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and worked in labour and employment law at a Vancouver-based national law firm.
