Marie practices in all areas of workplace law and has a particular interest in administrative, constitutional, environmental, and Indigenous litigation. She is passionate about the human-centric nature of workplace law and enjoys helping clients find tailored and pragmatic solutions to foster better working environments.
Marie obtained her J.D. from the University of Victoria in 2023. During her legal studies, Marie was an academic tutor for first year law students and worked at The Law Centre, a pro-bono legal clinic in Victoria, where she assisted and represented low-income individuals.
Prior to joining Harris, Marie completed her articles at a national firm in Vancouver. Prior to law school, Marie worked for two non-profit organizations in Vancouver specializing in digital and public policy. Marie has participated in multiple proceedings at the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), and she testified before the parliamentary committee reviewing the Copyright Act in Ottawa. Marie is fluent in Spanish.
