Kirsten practices in all areas of workplace law, and has a particular interest in helping employers to navigate the legal and relational complexities in the workplace. She has a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to workplace law, and offers both practical advice to shape workplace culture and tailored solutions to resolve the most challenging workplace disputes.
Kirsten earned her law degree from the University of Alberta, where she served as Editor in Chief of the Alberta Law Review. In her free time, she volunteered with Student Legal Services and worked at Edmonton Community Legal Services, where she provided legal services to people in Edmonton and throughout Alberta.
Before law school, Kirsten spent several years in the restaurant industry as a manager and server. In the restaurant industry, she gained a grounded understanding of the complexities of workplace relationships, team dynamics, and the impact of employment policies.
