Carly advises public and private sector employers on labour, employment and human rights issues. She also practices in the areas of administrative and constitutional law. Carly has appeared before the Provincial Court of British Columbia and the British Columbia Employment Standards Tribunal.

Before joining Harris, Carly worked as Special Advisor to the Director of Investigations at the University of British Columbia. In her current practice, Carly advises post-secondary institutions on administrative and governance issues, as well as policy development.

Carly completed her articles with Harris and became and Associate in 2019. During law school, Carly received the Edward JC Hossie Leadership Award for her commitment to the community. Carly co-founded a pro bono legal clinic in the Downtown Eastside which helps homeless and marginally housed individuals apply for government identification, and coordinated the law school’s pro bono program, overseeing 60 law students in community-based placements.
