Aleksandra practices in all areas of workplace law with experience in employment law, labour law, and human rights law. Aleksandra is drawn to the human element of workplace law, and thrives on connecting with clients and delivering comprehensive and high-quality solutions to meet their full range of needs.
Aleksandra has assisted clients in a variety of different proceedings, including matters in the BC Provincial Court, BC Supreme Court, the Employment Standards Branch, and the Human Rights Tribunal.
Aleksandra earned her Juris Doctor at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. During law school, Aleksandra was selected to be part of the Canadian Labour Arbitration Moot team and volunteered with the Career Services Office, Allard Women’s Caucus, and Law Students’ Legal Advice Program. She was also a Legal Buddy, Notetaker, and Workshop Leader with the Legal Outreach Club.
Prior to law school, Aleksandra spent several years as an administrative decision-maker at the Employment Standards Branch, Ministry of Labour.
Before joining Harris as an associate, Aleksandra summered and articled at a leading regional full-service law firm. She is fluent in Serbian.
