The Industrial Inquiry Commission into the CUPE strike against BC school boards made its report to the Minister of Labour and the parties today. The content of the report by Vince Ready and Irene Holden was not made public while the parties studied it. After it became apparent that an early settlement as a result of the report was unlikely, Premier Ujjal Dosanjh announced that he would recall the Legislature to pass back-to-work legislation on Sunday so that schools could open again Monday.
