Richard represents private and public sector employers in litigation and regularly advises clients on employment issues, including terminations, wrongful and constructive dismissal claims, employment contracts, statutory employment obligations, and human rights issues. He has appeared before the Provincial Court of British Columbia, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the BC Court of Appeal, the Employment Standards Branch, and the BC Human Rights Tribunal.

Richard is practical and methodical in his practice. He quickly arrives at the heart of a problem, and believes that the best solutions are rational, effective, and grounded in common sense. Richard enjoys working closely with his clients on their workplace issues, and is a zealous advocate for their best interests.
