The BC Minister of Labour established a Labour Relations Code Review Committee under section 3 of the Code today. The committee will advise government on matters pertaining to the Labour Relations Code including fourteen issues under consideration for amendments. The five members of the committee include Eric Harris, Q.C., a partner of Harris & Company. The committee will provide the minister with advice on these issues in March 2003. After considering the advice, the minister may ask the committee to come back with formal recommendations.
