Harris is pleased to announce that Carly Stanhope has joined the firm as an Associate.
Before joining Harris, Carly worked as Special Advisor to the Director of Investigations at the University of British Columbia. In her current practice, Carly advises post-secondary institutions on administrative and governance issues, as well as policy development. She also advises public and private sector employers on labour, employment, and human rights issues, and practices in the areas of administrative and constitutional law.
During law school, Carly received the Edward JC Hossie Leadership Award for her commitment to the community. Carly co-founded a pro bono legal clinic in the Downtown Eastside which helps homeless and marginally housed individuals apply for government identification, and coordinated the law school’s pro bono program, overseeing 60 law students in community-based placements.
We look forward to the many contributions Carly will make to our practice. Welcome Carly!
